7. Moorchchha
An aspirant practicing this Pranayama falls into a swoon and he remains in an unconscious state. Hence this Pranayama is called ‘Moorchchha’.
Technique: Sit in any comfortable position. Inhale through both the nostrils. Then practice deep Jalandhar Bandha and hold the breath. Then exhale through the nostrils.
Advantages:
1.As the mind remains in an unconscious state, the aspirant experiences spiritual joy.
2. This Pranayama bring the mind in the profound state of quietude. According to Yogashastra, ‘mana’ (the mind) becomes amana that is non-existent. In other words, it is in communion with the Supreme Power.
